This jazz band was formed on 19th May 1974, following thier love of traditional jazz, blues and skiffle from an early age.

With dedicated musicians travelling from all over the country to play in his band it soon achieved a very high standard and they were booked regularly at top jazz venues, such as London's famous '100 Club', Oxford Street.

In 1976 they were offered the first of many trips to Europe, where they are now highly respected. They turned professional in 1989 to concentrate all his efforts on the band.

His search for nice tunes has resulted in them having one of the largest repertoires of any band in the country.
